A typical rewire includes removal of all old wiring, installation of modern cables to current regulations, new consumer unit with RCD protection, sufficient sockets and lighting points for modern living, and all testing and certification.

We take care to minimise mess and disruption, with careful making good of any necessary holes or channels. Properties over 25 years old should have their wiring inspected, and those with original wiring from the 1960s or earlier often require a complete rewire for safety.
