Period Property Sympathetic Rewire

The Challenge
A listed cottage required a complete rewire, but the owners wanted to preserve character by hiding cables and using period-style accessories. Standard surface mounting was not acceptable.
The Solution
We carefully channelled walls where permitted, using existing voids and routes to conceal cables. Heritage-style brass switches and sockets were specified, with careful positioning to maintain period aesthetics.
The Outcome
Result
Complete rewire, period character preserved, heritage accessories fitted
A fully modern electrical installation that's almost invisible. Visitors often don't realise the property has been rewired. The brass accessories complement the cottage beautifully.
